Honest Body Language

Body language can convey honesty - even if you aren't being totally honest.

First of all, shrug your shoulders a little bit. Try and show your palms a little bit. Showing your palms is a thing people do subconsciously to show that they have nothing to hide.

If you are sitting, keep your legs a little under a half meter apart.

Also, when someone is looking you in the eye, as if to ascertain veracity, maintain eye contact, but at normal levels. Don't stare back - as that can be seen as overcompensating, and definitely don't immediately avert your eyes. Just start thinking about something else and look back as if you were in a conversation with your friend.
